Web API set-user tags not working - Runtime error: Object is read-only.

Hello,

I try to set tags on users with the following call:

/web_api/set-user

{

"uid": xx-xxx-xxx,

"tags": [ "newtag", "existingtag"]

}

I got only

{
code: 'generic_error',
message: 'Runtime error: Object is read-only.'
}

Any ideas? What is wrong?

Regards,

Alex

That definitely points to a bug.

Version/JHF?
Also if you view the relevant user in SmartConsole, does it show as read-only?
If so, then the user may have been modified in a different session that has not been published.

The version ist R80.40 HFA Take 118. API Version 1.6.1

User can be edited in SmartConsole. And no other session active or any not published.

Tried different users, all the same issues.

Set comments is working. Adding tags with { "tags": { "add": "test" } } has the same issue.

I tried this myself in R81.10 and it appears to be working as expected.
Recommend a TAC case.
