Set the Router ID manually, preferably to a stable loopback IP, rather than letting Gaia choose one automatically. That way OSPF/BGP keeps the same identity even if an interface goes down. If this is a Cluster, use the Cluster VIP as the Router ID and make sure all members are configured consistently. Also avoid 0.0.0.0 and 127.x.x.x. One thing worth noting: changing the Router ID later in Gaia can be a pain and may require reconfiguring the routing setup, so it’s better to set it correctly before configuring OSPF or BGP.
