The new version courses might take a few months before release and then the exams follow that.
Even after the courses are released, and then afterwards the exams, the previous version exams are still available and very much valid.
They don't retire the previous version exam for a period of time after the new version exams are released.
That time is unknown and can be a few months or many months.
I am guessing that R82 courses won't be release for a few more weeks, or maybe even before the EOY.
R81.20 has been the last major release and the recommed release for a long time. Some versions are like that, and it could mean that the exams have longer lives too.
R82 adoption rate may even play a part.
