One of the mail selling points when we implemented HEC was the Smart Banner feature as a defence in depth opportunity to deter Business Email Compromise - we've seen our fair share of compromised third-parties sending us requests to change bank accounts etc.

We obviously did not do a proper due diligence, because we were extremely disappointed when we discovered that the Smart Banner feature would analyse English language emails only. In this day and age of applied AI it should be a small effort to expand this to detect such intent for all major languages and protect our Chinese, German and Italian end users as well.

Additionally, the Smart Banner should be applied to items that have been (potentially mistakenly) released from quarantine - today this does not appear to happen.

Hopefully this will be introduced sooner rather than later, it would be a major embarassment for us if a non-English finance manager would get spearphished in his local language...
