Great writeup Don and spot-on. A few more tips:
1) As far as accessing the courseware via Kortext, as mentioned you can just access it in a browser via kortext.com or install an app that is available for Windows/Android/iOS. However if you go the website route it will kick you off about every 2.5 hours for "inactivity" even if you are actively reading and scrolling. You'll have to sign back in a few times a day during class. I know that people hate installing software but I use the app for myself on Windows 10 and it works great all day long.
