To extend expired CCSE
Hi,
I current have a CCSE-R77(156-315.77).
But, It was expired at Dec2016.
So, I'm going to extend the CCSE.
Can I take the exam 156-915.77?
If it is impossible, I must take the exam 156-915.80 to extend?
Regards,

Hi Juhyung,
You can verify the following posts here on Check Mates:
Extend your Check Point CCSE certification ONLINE!
CCSA and CCSE certifications expired
As you said, can take 156-915.80 to update your CCSE to R80. The exam 156-915.77 is intended for update to R77 from previous CCSE Certifications.
Regards.

Hi,
To extend my CCSE, I must take 156-915.80 or choose two of listed following.
And I have already passed the 156-315.77, I cannot take the exam 156-915.77.
Is it correct?
156-727 – Threat Prevention
156-728 – Gaia Overview
156-729 – Advanced IPS
156-730 – SandBlast
156-733 – Mobile Threat Protection
But, It is strange that above list is $150 per section, and two section is $300.
And, extend period is one year.
156-915.80 is just $250 and two years.
So, I cannot decide a way to extend.

https://community.checkpoint.com/people/jhlee1097b130-6e88-4d0f-8f86-a4f338d8756d,
I just want to confirm that you are correct in that these are the ways to extend your CCSE.
Additionally, you could advance to the top level for Check Point Certifications by passing the CCSM - Check Point Certified Security Master (156-115.77) This is a 2-year certification as well. Technically, it doesn’t upgrade your CCSE (it will still expire), but since it is a higher certification level, you will still get all of the benefits of being a CCSE.
