R80 LOGGING DATA FLOW

CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THE LOGGING FLOW ( ETL Daemon, RFL etc.) AS SHOWN IN ATTACHED IMAGE ?

Can anybody explain the logging flow (RFL , ETL Daemon) as shown in attached image ?

It seems pretty self-explanatory from the picture:

  • Logs come from either local files or through other devices connected via LEA
  • Logs are indexed and put into Solr.
  • SmartConsole and SmartView access the logs stored in Solr via the Logging Core.

What's your specific question?

Actually I was looking for some details about ETL Daemon (Indexer) and Logging Core (RFL) like roles & responsibly and functions / working of these.
