We are happy to announce that Check Point has released new series of training for Emerging Technologies: CloudGuard and SandBlast.
Check Point CloudGuard SaaS protects enterprise data and users, by preventing advanced threats and targeted attacks on SaaS applications and cloud-based email.
By the end of this training you will be able to
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Hackers constantly modify their strategies and techniques to evade detection and reach corporate resources. Zero-day protection from Check Point provides a deeper level of inspection so you can prevent more malware and zero-day attacks, while ensuring quick delivery of safe content to your users.
Zero-day and advanced persistent threats use the element of surprise to bypass traditional security, making these threats difficult to protect against—and very popular with hackers. Traditional sand-boxing was designed to help with these types of threats, but cyber criminals have evolved their techniques, creating evasive malware that can avoid detection by many sandbox solutions.
To get ahead, enterprises need a multi-faceted prevention strategy that combines proactive protection that eliminates threats before they reach users, and state-of-the-art CPU-level exploit detection to expose even the most highly camouflaged threats.
In this course you will:

The new SandBlast Sales Course gives Check Point partners the opportunity to enhance their knowledge on the innovative and successful SandBlast suite of Zero-Day solutions, with an overview of SandBlast as a holistic solution (Network to Endpoint).
The course will be concluded with a certification exam. Upon passing, a SandBlast certification will be updated in the user’s User Center/PartnerMAP profile and a plaque will be issued.
I've finished the CCVSA course. Very helpful with the Cloud environments (Azure and AWS) as normally I find them very difficult to do things. Two thumbs up!!
Can anyone take these courses? Or does it require previous Check Point certifications?
Any ChechMates member can take these courses, free of charge. Please register you account there with your CheckMates email. No prior certification is required
I have completed CCSBA and looking forward to take CCVSA. Thanks for giving that opportunity. My love towards the checkpoint products is up another level. Do you provide certifications for the courses completed?
I did my Check Point Certified SandBlast Administrator (CCSBA) certification today. Is a good possibility to get a Check Point certification. Much easier than CCSA, CCSE or CCSM:-)
I found a small "copy and paste" issue in LAB 7. Valeri or Dameon, perhaps you can pass that to the appropriate Check Point colleagues.

Hi Aner,
Register on the portal with:
- User Center Account email
- First name
- Surname
It should work after that. I registered yesterday and took the Check Point Certified SandBlast Administrator (CCSBA) exam in 15 hours.
After logging in you should also enter your Check Point Candidate ID CPxxxxxxxx.
Regards
Aner, you need to register with your user center email. There is no SSO between the hoster and UserCenter, so the password should be defined separately.
After registering, browse the course catalog to add specific courses into your basket.
I started Check Point Certified CloudGuard Administrator - CCVSA course and noticed that in Azure section is the chapter test as first in whole section and rest of section is locked. I think that is wrong and should be placed on the end. Am I right?
I've completed 7 AWS Network but it will not let me go to the next level. It still shows it locked.
Yeah seems to happen because chapter 5. 04 Microsoft Azure has been added recently to course and you didn't take it. I found same issue for me as well. It seems the curriculum is quite alive.
We have forwarded your question to the course developers, please stand by
Hi, you have missed the chapter 5.
Hello,
that was an update issue that has been solved, please refresh your page and you should see it as planned.
I've solved that for you
Thanks for your prompt assistance, Tal Ein-Habar
Thanks again
Valeri,
I've got through the CCVSA course and while I've enjoyed the experience, there are quite a few errors, logical as well as grammar related.
Please advise if there is a way to let the course developers know about the issues spotted by trainees.
Regards,
Vladimir
Send it to taleh@checkpoint.com.
Yes, please send all your notes directly to Tal, thanks
Yes, now it is correct. Thank you!
I thought the whole idea of cloud-based solutions was their scalability, elasticity, etc...
seeing this in a Sandblast lab1, Americas.
The labs are managed by external provider who defines the capacity as well. Tal Ein-Habar can you do something fro that?
Actually that should be redirected either to Boaz or Shay , that is an issue with the sandblast lab and cloudshare.
Since I did not find any information how long the test takes, here is my experience.
2 days - Check Point Certified SandBlast Administrator (CCSBA)
2 days - Check Point Certified CloudGuard Administrator (CCVSA)
1,5 days - SandBlast Mobile Technical Sales Training & certification - CCSBMSE
2 days - Check Point Certified SandBlast Agent Administrator - CCSBA Agent
Today I was through with all the tests:-) The times for the tests are real.
Regards
