CCSE(R81) with expired CCSA(R80)

Hello,

My CCSA R80 is expiring on 13Nov 2022 and my CCTA is on 9th Oct 2023. Can I take CCSE after 13th Nov 2022 with an expired CCSA or do I need to take it before my CCSA expires?

I am a little bit confused after the release of the new exam version.

CCSA is not a pre-requisite for CCSE, so you can take CCSE any time. To keep your certs valid, the options are:

  1. Take one accreditation exam (other than CCTA that you already have) before the current CCSA expires to extend your CCSA for one more year
  2. Retake CCSA to extend your certification by two years.
  3. Take CCSE and one additional accreditation exam to earn CCSM

@ahmnaw You can take the R81 CCSE with an expired CCSA.

Hello @Jason_Tugwell

Still unsure that what is valid as I talked with one of CP's employee as well. I have CCSA R80 which is going to expire in a week. CCSE exam is R81.10 if I am not wrong. Do you still think that expired CCSA R80 is good enough to take CCSE R81?

Thank you
