We are using the feature to check links inside mails. In R80.30 there is a setting in the Threat Prevention Policy to limit the number of links and the number of Bytes to be checked.
In R80.30 there is a limit of 10'000 Bytes (see left). In R80.40 or R81 I cannot see this setting (see right)
Does this mean there is no more limit? And would it be possible to have a higher limit also in R80.30?
Daniel
In R80.40+ you configure this in a different place: Security Policies > Threat Prevention > Threat Tools > Protections
I don't like to contradict you but in the R80.40 help page it points me to: "Getting Here - Security Policies > Threat Prevention > Policy > Threat Tools > Profiles > Profile > Mail > Links inside mail" and I cannot see it there.
In the R81 help there is no hint for this topic but under "Security Policies > Threat Prevention > Threat Tools > Protections" I did not find any possibility to change these values. I must be blind.
I'm happy to be proven wrong because that means the truth has hopefully come out 🙂
I pulled the above from the R80.40 docs, which is clearly wrong because these settings don't exist.
@Uri_Lewitus can you correct this?
My guess is that these settings are no longer necessary in R80.40+.
@TP_Master can you confirm?
We took this bit out of the documentation - still waiting for confirmation from @TP_Master about the reasons (no limit anymore?)
