What is the most efficient way to remove IPS Protections that do not apply to our infrastructure

Hello,

What is the most efficient way to remove/deprecate IPS Protections that do not apply to our infrastructure?

The obvious ones such as Windows 3.1, win 98, etc are easy to identify … but there are many others which require manual validation.

For example, does CP automatically deprecate IPS Protections with CVEs that were replaced by a cumulative CVE?

Does CP have documentation on the subject.
