Danny, thanks for sharing the details but I am looking for a little more precise answer.
Customer scenario is they have multiple domains and fie server in one domain and possibility of multi Gig file transfers on routine and they want to install all the traffic on IPS and trying to figure out if we can offer a CIFS specific IPS protections which could still inspect all traffic without slow down network or cause latency issues.
