MTA Email status "new"

On the MTA overview of SmartView it is possible to see the email status.

I see 3 possible status:

  • Delivered
  • Bounced
  • New

The status delivered is quite obvious, the status bounced is emails not delivered, but the status new I do not what is the meaning.

Can someone help?
