IPS Report displays Protection name with invalid characters

Hi All,

We have a Check Point R81.10 Security Gateway that sends a daily IPS report. On some of the protections, the names contain invalid characters. I thought these protection names were taken from Check Point itself. Why are the names displaying invalid characters, and how can I identify the protections for further analysis?

FYI I have attached some of the protection names with invalid characters.

Thanks

Yes, it still displays the same invalid characters for the protection name when I exported to CSV.

Maybe it is worth updating the sms. Is not a lot of work. The bug list is long maybe  missed something.

how are the firewalls running? From what I recall take 139 is not the best

Where do you define the report?

Under the Smart Console Logs @ Monitor-->Reports-->Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and scheduled the report to send on daily basis.
