Hello,
Customer has a distributed PTC setup with a internal Private Threat Cloud appliance and a Download Agent in the DMZ. Updates are pushed from the Download Agent to the internal Private Threat Cloud appliance via a network diode. This setup is working fine and internal Check Point devices can get their updates voor Threat Prevention blades and software.
But does anyone know how the Private Threat Cloud appliance and Download Agent maintain their diskspace? I know there is a clean up script we can run and maybe this is also done automatically. But what is done by this script? What mechanisme is in place to keep diskspace normal?
For example, what happens to updates on the Download Agent once they are pushed to the PTC appliance? Will they remain on the Download Agent for some time, or are they deleted right away? Is there a way to monitor this process? Can we force the deletion of updates or is this a automatic process on which we have no control?
Regards,
Martijn
