Backup procedure PTC

Hi,

Article sk149692 mentions the PTC is creating a backup every 24 hours and you can restore a PTC from one of those backups.
But is there a restore procedure in case the PTC appliance (Smart-1) fails and we need a RMA?

Can I export the daily backups and import them in a new appliance? Where are those backups located on disk?

Or is there no procedure for a hardware failure and I need to install a new PTC and re-connect all Check Point systems to this new PTC?

Trying to find the best practices for backing up a PTC.

Regards,
Martijn

I don't believe it is possible to reuse PTC backups on other appliances due to the EULA of Private ThreatCloud.

I would open an informational case with TAC - in case of PTC HW RMA it must be clear how to restore last backup from cloud.
