What CLI Command Would You Want on a CheckMates T-Shirt?

Based on our My Top 3 Check Point CLI commands‌ thread and some internal discussions, we are looking to create some CheckMates T-shirts for future events, including CPX 2018, the dates and registration which recently were posted.

The slogan for the front of these shirts is the subject of the pool. I've chosen a few potential commands that you can vote on. If you have other suggestions, you are welcome to leave them as comments.

Front (example):

Back:

fw ctl zdebug drop54
fw monitor -e 'accept;'17
route add default gw community.checkpoint.com6
cp_conf sic init community.checkpoint.com norestart1
fw putkey community.checkpoint.com2
migrate import panos_config.tgz2
;

Another good choice 🙂

More like disappointed.

I blame Tamir Zegman for this. It would be much better if CP could fix th buffer issue with the command, so at least it would be not that useless anymore.

In essence, this is how laziness prevails over reason and expertise. Not something I would like to see CP promoting

I guess my fw monitor command would propably be a lot longer.

Send me a DM of what do u think the macro should include , I promise to check it

how about vpn debug ikeon?

Mine would be, too, but it would be too long to put on the front of a t-shirt Smiley Happy

cpview -t

cpinfo

vpn debug ikeon

Best practice command for ClusterXL failover Smiley Happy
cphaprob -d GRACEFUL -t 0 -s problem -p register
Or the simpeler
clusterXL_admin down

Let's not forget, that's besides being an actually useful command, these T-shirts are also a marketing tool. Hence anything that contains "down", "debug", "problem", etc.. may not be a best thing to reside next to Check Point logo.

A few internal folks made the same comment Smiley Happy

My vote is on cpstart...

"pep s p a"

i must have worn out keyboard on that one during our IA implementation over years..

and since we did VSX R80.10 upgrades using CPUSE CLI

"installer agent"

Why not:

[Expert@HostName:0]# startx
-bash: startx: command not found

... funny but it's a negative result ...

I propose the result of 'cpstat mg' command on a R80.10 Security Management Server when more than two users are connected ?

Something like:

HostName> show version product
Product version Check Point Gaia R80.10
HostName> cpstat mg

Product Name:  Check Point Security Management Server
Major version: 6
Minor version: 0
Build number:  991310187
Is started:    1
Active status: active
Status:        OK

Connected clients
-------------------------------------------------------
|Client type |Administrator|Host        |Database lock|
-------------------------------------------------------
|SmartConsole|admin1       |Pro-Comput1 |false        |
|SmartConsole|admin2       |Pro-Comput2 |false        |
-------------------------------------------------------

Unloading a policy might be kind of negative advertisement

s/Palo Alto/Checkpoint/g'

fw fetch -n

We want shirts! Come on!

fw monitor -e ‘accept host(127.0.0.1);’ >nul

It’s a Check Point version of an old classic 😉

How about the number for TAC. I seem to need that a lot lately Smiley Happy

"cpstart me" . I think it will be cool if we will mix some commands with none checkpoint's words.

We are planning shirts "along these lines" for CPX 2019.

Stay tuned. Smiley Happy

New contenders are:

#whereami

And

#whoareyou

Happy 2019!

I would associate #whereami with #toomuchbeer. Not sure we want that on a Check Point T.
