SmartMove Fortigate - Policy does not appear

Hi,

I am trying to use SmartMove for the first time to migrate a Fortigate firewall policy into an existing Smart management device with several policies. I would like the Fortigate policy to become a new policy in the Smart management to manage new Checkpoint gateways.

I run the two scripts and they complete but with many errors.

The objects appear to be in the Smart management, but there is no additional policy.

failed_object.txt errors: code: "err_validation_failed"    (At least some of the objects that I checked were created.)

failed_package.txt errors:  code: "generic_err_object_field_not_unique"

Am I doing something wrong?

Why don't I see a new policy?

Thanks

We would have to see the precise policy and error messages to comment why exactly.
I suspect there are a few features used in your policy that aren't supported.

Hi,

Please review the reason of the failure , review the failed_object.txt.

We are aware about issues with Fortinet:

- FQDN

- Black holes routes

We are working to address it  : https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/SmartMove/Smartmove-Fortigate-to-Checkpoint-migration/m-p/106290...

We aim to solve it by end of Q1 .

You can send me the file offline and I will take a look on it as well , SC@checkpoint.com
