Smart-1 Cloud Email Alert with Smart task

I have Smar-1 Cloud and would like use smart task to send email alert when policy install, but on my email server need to allow the ip address that generate the email, which IP should set on my Email server? is the email generate from Smart-1 Cloud? but this private IP

Not clear if this refers to SmartTasks in general or only SmartTasks on R80.40.

Hi @Bac26,

You should allow traffic from one of the Smart-1 Cloud, public FQDNs to your email server according to your region:
o    EU:  eu-west-1.g04.checkpoint.com
o    US: us-east-1.g04.checkpoint.com
o    AP: ap-southeast-2.g04.checkpoint.com

You can run nslookup to this FQDN to check their IP, however this IPs may be changed from time to time.

Hi Bac26,

Currently we supporting "send mail" and "web request" in SmartTask feature the "run script" did not supported in Smart-1 Cloud.

to be able reach the on-prem\cloud SMTP server you should allow inbound traffic from Smart-1 Cloud FQDNs according to your region.
o    EU:  eu-west-1.g04.checkpoint.com
o    US: us-east-1.g04.checkpoint.com
o    AP: ap-southeast-2.g04.checkpoint.com
