Managing 1570 from Smart-1 Cloud

Hello,

I have 1570 firewall that is currently managed locally via WebUI and i need to manage it via Smart-1 Cloud , there is a question concerning the policy conversion itself , is there any tool that can help in taking the local policy and then to be converted on the infinity portal of Smart-1 CLoud ?

Did someone encounter something similar or shall i need to create the policy manually ?

Not necessary - you can keep all local configuration and only overwrite parts that need changes in vSMP. Cloud Management is granular, you decide what is configured locally and what not-

Thank you Albrecht for the reply , the point is having the firewall to be managed in the portal as there are other models too will be in there , so the point of having the SMP to manage all of them and thus i been asked to have the policy migrated to it.

So i was searching for thus way to convert the policy or not but curious how to choose what to confgiure locally and what to configure via the vSMP ?
