what is the nest way to migrate 2200 standalone to 3600

Hi All,

I have 2200 FW with standalone deployment. It has VPN tunnel which is certificate based. I would like to upgrade it to 3600.

Is there any way to export all the configuration, FW policy and VPN certificate  from 2200 to 3600.

Any pointers is really appreciated.

What version of code is the 2200 running?
What version of code will the 3600 be running?
In general, you’ll use the standard migration tools for the management/gateway configuration, which will preserve the certificates and the VPN configuration.

Hi,

What version of code is the 2200 running?  R77.20
What version of code will the 3600 be running? R 80.40

Do you have any document which covers the migration setps. Any help is much appreciated.

Version specifics aside for a moment...

"Upgrading a Standalone from R80.10 and lower with Migration" is covered in the R80.40 Install & Upgrade Guide.

Personally I would take the opportunity to move to a distributed deployment where possible.
