/var/log/ "full" after upgrade from r80.40 to r81.10

Hi Mates,

are these R80.40 Folders still needed in /var/log/opt?
After the upgrade to R81.10 /var/log/ is nearly full.

After consulting our supplier it is safe to delete those folders.
We will only loose old cpview data and logs.

Your best bet is to check with the TAC.

I agree with phoneboy, better check with TAC, just to be sure, though I had this exact issue in my lab (same upgrade as well) and since its a lab, I did not really care if it broke, so I deleted everything in that folder from R80.40, rebooted and all was still fine.

You can try sk91060 & sk63361 if not already, but outside of that consulting TAC before removing items is deffinately recommended
