site-to-site vpn

i would like to know the site 2 site vpns are compatible between r80.40 and r81.10 versions of security gateway . i am expecting the responce from anyone ASAP. any SK or documentation help more..

Yes they are interoperable.

A change that is to be noted is regarding the interworking with 3rd party devices (devices not managed by your SMS), we changed the default tunnel test mode to DPD (R81 and above). 

Refer sk108600 scenario 5.
