alias IP Failover issue

Hi,

I am facing issue while doing ISP failover through Alias IP.

Configure INT with Alias IP

Configure Routes

Create NAT rule for particular Subnet to test.

Created Policy.

Running on R81.20 with JHF 92, when we disconnect the ISP1 will not get internet through ISP 2.

I have attached topology also.

What is the next hop of your default route? 

How will the gateway know that the upstream ISP line has failed?

I suspect the NAT as configured will also be problematic without some Interface/Zone reference.

Hi,

What is the next hop of your default route? ---ISP1 Gateway IP

How will the gateway know that the upstream ISP line has failed?---I have configured ISP Redundancy and created 1) NAT pointing to ISP1 Alias IP 2) NAT Pointing to ISP2.
