VPN Login Failure with Azure MFA

We have an MFA setup for our VPN and we use Azure MFA along with a Windows NPS server. Currently users are unable to login with MFA enabled and it's behaving weird. The login attempt on the user side is failing with "Access denied - wrong username or password". On checking the checkpoint logs the error given is Radius servers not responding.
