I noticed that if network is blocked in SecureXL (using fwacell dos rate source ... pkt-rate 0 for example) and you try to connect to an IP that falls within the blocked range, the gateway will anyway attempt to establish outgoing connection that is otherwise doomed to fail.

Overall, it seems to me at the moment gateway is doing more work than to just lookup the table and not bother to try connecting at all.
