Threat Extraction - add .cleaned to filename?
Client is running R80.3 3200 appliance cluster with Smart1-405 SMS. MTA(latest hotfix), TE and TX are enabled. On premise Exchange server 2016. Would any of these add "cleaned" to internal email? Example: mydocument.docx received from outside network forwarded to other local domain users, file sent to them is "mydocument.cleaned.docx". GFI Mail Essentials (installed on the Exchange server) sends this to quarantine.

TX will append 'cleaned' to the end of the name of any file it scrubs **bleep**. This can be disabled. The location has moved a few times but in R80.30 you should find it in
$FWDIR/conf/scrub_user.conf. If you change the last line to :add_cleaned_txt_to_filename (0) instead of :add_cleaned_txt_to_filename (1) that will stop the file name change. From memory I believe you have to kill the scrubd daemon for the change to take.

In R.81 onwards, the file is template_scrub_user.conf. Thanks a lot!
