Take 211 and CVE-2024-24919

Hello,

R80.40 with take 197 and CVE-2024-24919 hotfix installed. I know we are quite late with 80.40, but hopefully this month we'll migrate to 81.20.

I'm trying to install the latest take 211 and patch it afterwards, but I can't pass the verification stage:

==

Verify install of package Check_Point_R80_40_JUMBO_HF_Bundle_T211_sk165456_FULL.tgz Failed

This package conflicts with previously installed packages:
Installed hotfixes are missing from this package.

Uninstall the conflicting packages and try again.

Do I need to uninstall CVE-2024-24919 hotfix for take 197 prior to installing take 211?

Will it uninstall the hotfix only or the whole take 197?

Thank you.

Yes, because JHF 211 does not include that hotfix.  After removing the JHF 197 hotfix, install JHF 211, then install the JHF 211 CVE hotfix.
