Support for opened Check Point appliances
A couple weeks ago I read a new sk about breaking the warranty seal of Check Point appliances is ok for RAM upgrades (4800 appliance in my case) and support for these appliances would not be affected. Now I'm in need for this sk and can't find it anymore. Maybe Check Point changed it back to 'Internal'? The only sk I found is sk65361 that says 'We recommend that only experienced personnel install or remove hardware components.' Our customer mentioned he heard that only Check Point employees are eligible to perform the RAM upgrade on-site while I think this is not required. This is for original Check Point RAM.
