How do I tell from the CLI if a power supply went down or up and down?
I got an alert from our SNMP monitor that a power supply was down and then shortly after it said it was up. How do I check on the CLI or gui to see the status of the power supplies and if it really went down?
On Check Point appliances only,
HostName> show sysenv all ... ... ... Power Supply #1 Down Power Supply #2 Up
[Expert@HostName]# cpstat os -f power_supply Power Supply -------------- |Index|Status| -------------- | 1 | Up | | 2 | Down | --------------
On which appliance you are experiencing such issues ?
You should be able to check if PSU went really down/up from LOM interface events.
What/where is LOM interface events?
On Check Point appliances only,
HostName> show sysenv all ... ... ... Power Supply #1 Down Power Supply #2 Up
[Expert@HostName]# cpstat os -f power_supply Power Supply -------------- |Index|Status| -------------- | 1 | Up | | 2 | Down | --------------
