Recover historical cpu after upgrade

Hello All,

Btw anyone know how to recover historical resource like cpu usage/mem on checkpoint firewall appliance 5K series after upgrade from R80.30 to R80.40, because we just upgrade on last month, but we need historical usage from last year.
we have snapshot before upgraded, can we recover it ? , Or may be if it not possible, is there any link for documentation ?

This is last historical is stuck since fw installed

I'm not aware of a way to recover this data into the local DB off-hand, but what method was used to perform the upgrade?

Maybe consider using an external SNMP monitoring solution and or investigate Skyline moving forward.

Hi Chris,
Btw we use CPUSE upgrade from Gaia to upgrade from R80.30 to R80.40
And related snmp, we already monitor , but still same like on checkpoint devices, only show after upgrade
Btw do you have some link, or document for us to use as reference, thanks

If you recover your snapshot you can use the historical view of cpview, but this shows only the last 30days.

Or maybe you have a cpinfo from the old system, cpview data will be there.

Another way ..... restore your old snapshot on another hardware connect with a clone of your management and retrieve the historical data via SmartviewMonitor.

@rdinata01 I think this  should work with a gateway recovered from the snapshot. The historical data is saved on the gateway and retrived from them if you request it via from SmartviewMonitor.

You can copy files from snapshots - see here : https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/Mounting-snapshots/m-p/146129#M25708

Perhaps the data did come across and there's a different issue at hand.
Recommend engaging with the TAC on this.
