RAID1 fresh install

I setup a second disk on a CP5900 appliance that initially had one. The system autodetected the disk and attempted to perform a RAID1 unsuccessfully though (Screenshot). No matter how hard I tried I wasn't able to setup RAID1.

My question is: If I do a fresh install of the GAiA OS on the appliance (which now has 2 disks instead of 1), will RAID1 be implemented automatically or do I need to do extra work ?

Thanks

Offhand, I don't know.
That said, you can check the RAID status using one of the following commands: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81.10/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81.10_Gaia_AdminGuide/Topics-GAG/M...

If it's not configured...then you need to configure it.

I know the commands...

My question is if after a fresh install of GAiA on a CP5900 with 2 disks installed I need to do explicitly activate_sw_raid or during the install the system auto configures a RAID1 array and I don't need to do anything

I recall while back customer did this exact scenario and worked fine, they did not have to do anything. I just dont remember the model of the appliance, sorry.
