R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator Recommended Jumbo Take 76

Hi Checkmates

We ran into an issue while running the verification for a Jumbo Hotfix where by it gave the error on the snapshot. We got around it by creating the path it was looking for and copied the file to that location and the installation was successful.

The question is why was the path misspelled from BUNDLE to BUODLE? the issue was only related to this one gateway where by similar gateways did not have the same problem, we are quite puzzled.

The gateway has the latest deployment agent.

Hi @boom247

The installed take 53 was deleted from the gateway?

For the first sight, it will be easier to make a clean install, and import the save cofiguration output. Of cousre if it is possible

Sometimes the simple solution more efficient instead of open a ticket by TAC

Hi AkosBakos

No it was not deleted, it was there but the verification was looking in the wrong directory due to the incorrect spelling which meant it's looking in the incorrect path.

Hm, I had seen that error before, but it was never mispelled as far as the actual path, thats very strange.

Hi,

Is there any chance you can provide tgz of the output of the following command : da_cli collect_logs

It will help us better understand what might have caused the issue

Hi Yonathanp

Unfortunately I no longer have access to this environment.

Hi boom247,

Since we don't have logs and we didn't manage to reproduce it, is a bit difficult to understand what exactly happened.

I have double checked the package itself, and it seems intact.

We suspect that someone accidently changed some values in the registry, causing this misspelling

Thanks for your feedback.

From you're response this is unlikely to be a bug, which does make sense since the hotfix was installed in 5 more gateways without any issues, the problem was isolated only to this one.

Should there be any further developments, will update this post, thanks!

@boom247 I would agree with what @yonathanp had said here. Personally, I had never seen an issue like that with any jumbo, probably going back to R55, so its very unlikely it would be a bug. Best logical explanation is that something in the registry may had changed. To help you out, I am happy to compate the HKML reg file from working gateway and yours, though I believe you said it worked afterwards, so might not help.
