Both are not supported. You can only use models available here: https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/hcl/
AFAIK, AMD is not supported at all.

Hello Everybody,
I couldn't find any official documentation about AMD support but on my test environment I have successfully installed standalone R80.40 gateway.
There is only one warning message appeared before installation started;
"Warning: AMD Processor - this hardware has not undergone testing by Red Hat and might not be certified. Please consult https://hardware.redhat.com for certified hardware"

As @_Val_ mentioned we do not support AMD Processors, only Intel.

Thank you for your response.
Nowadays we started to have AMD powered servers in our data-centers, mostly used for virtualization.
In some cases we keep the Checkpoint management on ESXi Servers, in this case if server has AMD CPU are we going to have issues?
"Not Supported" meaning it is not going to work properly or we cannot get any support in case we open a case?

An AMD CPU should be no issue with ESXi.
