Per your screenshot all actively supported versions of GAiA OS run kernel version 3.10

If installing on VMware for instance Redhat is typically the selected OS as we are RHEL based.

Gaia is based on RH, not Debian. Your system is R81, so it means it runs the 3.10 kernel. This is an obvious false positive.

All Quantum Security Gateways (not Spark) run the Gaia OS, which is based on RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Currently supported versions (R80.40 and up) use the 3.10 kernel from RHEL 7.x.
Earlier versions primarily used a Linux 2.6 kernel from RHEL 5.x (with a few exceptions in R80.x that used the newer kernel).
However, all of those versions are officially out of support now and would have to be upgraded.
