Not able to reconnect

Version Security Gateway: R82 Jumbo Hotfix Take 19
Version VPN:  E88.30

 

Hi,

We are configuring Remote Access to our Security Gateway. We have enabled Mobile Blade and configured access to one of the LANs in the firewall. 

We have downloaded the Check Point Mobile client on one of our computers, added the Site and authenticated with Username and Password. It works - once. If we disconnect from the site and then try to reconnect, the progress bar gets stuck on 17% with the details:

Detecting Proxy Configuration
Resolving site name
Detecting site connectivity

After a while, the client tries to reconnect again and gets stuck on 23% and then yields the following details:

Checking if connectivity parameters have changed on site
Detecting Proxy Configuration
Resolving site name
Retrieving site information
Connection Failed: Site is not responding

 

Is there anyone who has experienced similar issues, or have a clue how to solve this?

I wasn't able to reply to my own thread last week, but this is now solved.
The problem was the gateway - it changed to an internal IP address upon first connection due to a misconfiguration.

I wasn't able to reply to my own thread last week, but this is now solved.
The problem was the gateway - it changed to an internal IP address upon first connection due to a misconfiguration.

What is the client side OS as relevant to the Endpoint version?

Make sure the main IP set in the general properties of the gateway is its external IP address, push policy, then delete and recreate the site on your endpoint.
