Why it matters

Updatable Objects automatically stay in sync with the latest cloud-service IP and domain ranges, so your location-based rules remain accurate without manual upkeep. By contrast, Application Control inspects traffic at the application layer—identifying, categorizing, and enforcing policies on thousands of apps and web services

If yes please take your case for widely used objects with your local SE for submission as an RFE.
