MTA authenticate local domain senders

hello team, 

I have MTA enabled on a security gateway and i need  that inbound emails, coming from @localdomain with destination @localdomain, to do smtp authentication to verify the sender is valid so no spam is  sent to internal email users.

Our MTA is primarily for Threat Prevention.
That said, we are using Postfix under the hood, and I presume you can modify the configuration to support this.
