Hi All,
i have to move policy package from one CMA to another. So we were using python script (import_export_package). To be 100% sure that script is working fine. i took MDS backup from customer and restored in my lab environment. MDS restore was successfully but i am seeing CMA processes in cpwd_admin list are showing in terminated state. They sometimes change to executing state but again goes in terminated state.
the configuration for VM is 100 GB HD and ram is 16 GB.
Please guide.
Thanks
Hi,
The problem occurs only with this CMA? There is a valid license? I recommended a HD with 500GB at least to mds restore on vmware enviroment.
Could you put the output of mdstat? If you run mdsstop_customer ip_cma, have any effect?

I second a potential licensing issue.
Thanks for advise Alisson and Valeri.
I found where the issue was. the issue was with leading interface. The appliance has leading interface as Mgmt and lab has eth0. after making changes in configuration file from Mgmt to eth0 all processes were in executing state.
I noticed later that i can't see output of mdsstat as well.
Thanks.
