Installing NIC drivers manually
Having a driver issue with Ruggedcom APE1404CKP with Realtek RTL8111/8168B.
The issue is after installing R77.30 the NIC drivers are not recognized and the interface is down.
There is a hotfix as per sk112356 , but i need to install jumbo 225 as its a mandatory requirement to inspect SCADA Protocols.
I have found the linux drivers of Realtek online, is there a way we can install the drivers ? I tried using various instructions on Linux / Ubuntu forums, but i get an error 'Module not loaded'.
Also when i try adding the module using "make" command, it says command not found ?
Any way to do this ?
Regards,
Saad

Drivers must be compiled against the relevant kernel version.
