Increaze file size limit of $FWDIR/log/fwk.elg
Hello All,
Is is possible to increase the size of the file $FWDIR/log/fwk.elg?
I'm trying to run some debugs (fw debug fwk on XY) but a new file is created every ~20 seconds (therefore it's full).
I've tried the command fw ctl set int fw_kdprintf_limit 0, but it's still the same.
I've checked, the fw ctl get int fw_kdprintf_limit says that the value is actually 0, so it's not a problem of the enter button on my keyboard 🙂
Thanks a lot!

We do not have any SKs that would answer your request. You can ask through a TAC case. if there is a way, they will guide you. Please open a ticket via https://help.checkpoint.com

Hi!
I've just checked, unfortunately those does not include the fwk:
[Expert@best_test_gw:0]# /bin/log_start list | grep "fwk"
[Expert@best_test_gw:0]#
[Expert@best_test_gw:0]# more /etc/cpshell/log_rotation.conf | grep "fwk"
[Expert@best_test_gw:0]#
But thanks a lot for your answer though!

Oh I just see the notes:
The above procedure is not related to the debug of the corresponding User Space processes (e.g., fwd, fwm, cpd). The relevant debug mechanism of User Space processes performs its own rotation of the log files.

As Val said, you can confirm with TAC, but based on that note, it would appear its automatic, by default. Is there way to change, who knows : - )
