How to view cpview history file on other machine

Hi Team,

I want to view a cpview history file from one management server to another. Actually the thing is - customer states that certain parameres were running fine before we commission few other components in network. Hence we wanted to verify the CPU/Memory utilization from firewall.

When I go to the directory $CPDIR/log/cpview_services I see old files. I am thinking if I could copy those ont my test managements erver and if there is any utility by which I could refer to those earlier files?

TIA

Thanks and Regards,

Hi,

you can use the command cpview -s export to create a database file, which can be viewed by Daignostics View (see sk125092).

Copying the cpview database files from $CPDIR/log/cpview_services to a different device might work, but I can't guarantee that.

Hello, @Arik_Ovtracht
This cpview -s export command in VSX environments, should be generated in each VS of our interest?
Or is it generated from VS0?
How long aprox can the file show me the information once generated? Days, months?
Thanks for your comments.
