How to get Part Number

Hi

I am looking to get the "Part Number" from a CP device. I can get the "Model Number" from either "show asset all" or  "dmiparse System Product"

Is there a way to get the Part Number?

Thanks

You could derive it from cplic print, as that is the only place where the model name is, except for the blades, unless you can write a script to combine the different blade licenses to the right bundle.
The appliance name is already in the license like this: cpap-sg1560x

Which model and software version are you using? The answer will depend on both

Product version Check Point Gaia R77.30
OS build 2
OS kernel version 2.6.18-92cpx86_64
OS edition 64-bit

Do we have any SK articles that will help?

On Gaia appliance, run from CLISH

>show asset system

and look for "Serial Number". If that does not help, use either

>show interface Mgmt

or

>show interface eht0

depending on the model. Mac address of the primary interface is the also the serial number. Or, look at the sticker at the back of the appliance. Some more details here:

Thanks for the information. The Part Number is typical "CPAP-1200-NGFW" or something like that. "Model Number" and "Part Number" are 2 different things.

Oh boy, you are looking for the product name then.

Take the appliance ID and go to your UserCenter. You will find it there among your products, in the assets list

Thanks

This is the nearest I have got. And I think this is the best we can get.

Basically we are updating our database to get most of the information. The same part number information in Cisco can be obtained from "show inventory".
