Hi,
HPE have decided to change all there names in the shop from HPE names to original vendor names.
This means that the HCL list from Check Point is showing the "old" names and these are no longer present i HPE shop.
The partnumber is the same as before so ie:
665240-B21#0D1 HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366FLR Adapter
727055-B21#0D1 HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ Adapter
870825-B21 HPE Eth 10/25Gb 2p 661SFP28 Adptr
What is actually check point checking on, are they still approved/supported?
HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port LRT-T i350-T4V2 Adapter 665240-B21#0D1
HPE Ethernet 10G 2-port SFP+ X710-DA Adapter 727055-B21#0D1
Regards,
Magnus
Assuming this is merely a "marketing" change (i.e. the hardware is exactly the same), it should have no impact on supportability.
The fact they're using the same part numbers suggest the hardware should be the same.
Ye i think it is a marketing thing, waiting for confirmation from HPE.
Sadly its abit confusing if its not matchning HCL on check points website, maybe possible to update with both names?
Hi,
We are currently adding the 'new' names to our HCL, change should be visible in couple of days.

Dolev
Hi,
Is the HCL updated whith the correct HPE-adapters for 10/25Gbit?
Compare to my search on HPE website, HCL name don´t fully match.
Regards
Mattias
Maybe I was to fast... Naming seems to be correct.
@Magnus-Holmberg - Can you confirm the HCL naming is correct?
Regards
Mattias
I think i do not understand your question - CP has tested the HW on HCL page and it is supported by CP SW. If HW is not supported any longer it will be removed from HCL.
