Maestro Madness
I'd like to add Mobile Access Users to my Show VPN Users SmartConsole extension.
To fetch a list of all connected Mobile Access Users I tried the listusers which shows the users repeatedly in a loop and never terminates.
So I'm currently limiting it via timeout 5s listusers risking to fetch an incomplete users list.
As both commands rely SNMP I'm asking myself how a complete users list could be retrieved quicker and more reliable.
Anyone has an idea? (I'm also looking for a really quick way to verify if Mobile Access is enabled.)
That sounds vaguely like a bug...have you opened a TAC case?
TAC case opened. The behaviour is the same on all our Mobile Access gateways.
Another downside is that there's no timeouton Gaia with the old 2.6 kernel, so I have to find an alternative / workaround.
TAC suggested sk104644 with the command RAsession_util show users all
Unluckily by default it is off. Turning it on means doing a cpstop/cpstart. So not a working alternative for me.
I wonder from where SmartView Monitor retrieves that data.
I have no quick answer for your question, but here is a good discussion including this topic, with kernel commands and a solution by @HeikoAnkenbrand : Remote Access Users license + count
I don't see a solution for listing MAB users there Günther.
Found a solution:
cvpnd_admin license all - sk112412
