FIPS mode on Checkpoint AWS Cloudguard

I am planning to enable FIPS mode for my R81.20 Geo Cluster deployed in AWS. I had been reading about it and it was mentioned that enabling FIPS may lead to disruption in cluster state. Is this true ? and is FIPS supported on AWS Platform ?

I don't see why FIPS mode wouldn't work/be supported in AWS.
Not familiar with the fact it can disrupt cluster state, but that might be in older versions (where CCP was not unicast by default).
