Disaster recovery using snapshot-SMS MGMT VM

Hai

 

One of our client SMS gateway  VMs got unrecoverably lost, OS not booting, due to kernel panic, we got the snapshot and system backup, and we tried creating a new VM and restored it with the snapshot, everything went well, but the cp process not coming up and unable to connect with smart console.

Please help, whats is going wrong? we use the same VM options and name. R81.10

The more of the actual messages you show, the more likely we'll be able to assist.
Did you use the same IP addresses as previously?
I suspect you'll have a license issue if not.
