I have installed a TE appliance in one of our customers and i noticed something odd. i cant ping the TE appliance from the gateway thats supposed to send files to the TE for emulation and vise-versa. But when i plug in my laptop and give it the same ip as the TE appliance everything is working fine, i can ping the gateway, coreswitch and almost every network node. What could be the issue here?
hi,
if you can run "cpstop" on this gateway and try the ping. maybe the firewall is blocking the traffic. if this is production and you can't stop the gateway check "fw ctl zdebug drop | grep TE-IP" to see if you have a drop.
if this is a cluster check if the traffic is translated to the cluster-IP..
