Hi all,
Is it allowed / a good idea to use a cross-over cable for the sync-interface, e.g. when both units are side-by-side in the same rack?
Best regards,
Christian
Check Point is actually recommending a cross-cable for sync these days. As for the same rack, consider putting them on two different power lines, if you can. Otherwise, I do not see an issue
Straight or crossover shouldn't matter as ports these days should do auto sense. From what I've seen. As long as appliances are not too old
