Checkpoint snapshot

 Hello Experts, 

I am in process of taking Snapshot on one of the cluster member. i am getting an error saying it doesnt have enough space in var/log partition. the snapshot is 26 Gb. i tried to delete some logs from var/log but still i have  42Gb available in var/log. total var/log space is 50Gb. 

still gateways shows the same error. can you suggest what should i do to resolve this?

You need at least twice the snapshot size free in /var/log in order to take a snapshot.
Sounds like you will need to extend the size of the log partition.

Do i need maintenance windows to increase partition? While increasing partition, will traffic will be interrupted? Is there any reboot?

Yes, this requires a maintenance window as it requires stopping all Check Point services and rebooting the gateway afterwords.
